This feature is only available on paid plans.
Version history lets you restore previous versions of your project in case of any unwanted changes.
To access this feature, go to the project settings and select the ‘Version history’ tab, where you can view and manage saved snapshots of your project.
In the emerging pop-up, you can either make a copy of the snapshot, creating a new project with the previous data, or restore an older version, which will overwrite the current one with the selected snapshot.
How versions are stored
During the editing process, our system automatically saves snapshots of your project at different intervals. Recent edits are saved every 10 minutes of continuous editing. As time progresses, the system reduces the frequency of saved snapshots, keeping every 6th, 24th, 48th, and 96th version to optimize storage. As a result, recent snapshots are saved more frequently, while older ones are saved less often.
This approach ensures quick recovery from recent changes while optimizing storage space.
Storage limits by plan
The number of snapshots depends on the plan you are currently subscribed to:
- Free: no snapshots are generated.
- Personal and Creator (archived): up to 6 snapshots per project.
- Freelancer: up to 12 snapshots per project.
- Studio and Professional (archived): up to 24 snapshots per project.
- Advanced (Business): can store up to 44 snapshots per project.
