Getting started
Once your application for the Readymag Affiliate Program is approved, you can access your personal dashboard here: Readymag Affiliate Dashboard.
This guide will walk you through the key benefits of the program, instructions on how to use your dashboard, and tips to maximize your earnings.
Earnings and commission
As a Readymag affiliate, you earn a commission whenever a new customer subscribes to a paid plan using your affiliate link or tracking coupon:
- 50% commission on a monthly plan purchase.
- 30% commission on an annual plan purchase.
- Commission applies only to the first purchase made by your affiliate link or coupon.
Example: If a user subscribes to an annual Business plan for $702, you earn a $210 commission.
Your commission is calculated based on the actual amount paid by the user, not the standard plan price. Any discounts applied to the purchase will affect your commission.
Benefits for your audience
Your audience receives a 10% discount on their first Readymag purchase when they use your personalized tracking coupon. You can find your unique coupon code in your Affiliate Dashboard.
How to promote Readymag
Sharing your affiliate link
You can promote Readymag by sharing your personalized affiliate link, which you can customize.
Key details about your affiliate link:
- It includes a 60-day tracking cookie.
- Users must sign up and make their first purchase within 60 days of clicking your link.
- They must complete their purchase using the same device and browser they used when opening the link.
- If they already have a Readymag account, their purchase will not be counted.
Affiliate link tracking is based on browser cookies, which have certain limitations:
- Cookies work only if customers accept the privacy policy.
- Ad blockers or tracker blockers may prevent tracking.
- In Safari, cookies are stored for only 7 days.
- If a user switches devices or browsers, clears cookies, or uses incognito mode, their signup may not be tracked.
Using a tracking coupon
Unlike affiliate links, tracking coupons do not rely on cookies, making them a more reliable method.
Readymag provides you with a unique tracking coupon. If you'd like to change your coupon name, email support@readymag.com with your preferred name. Users who apply your coupon on their first purchase are counted toward your affiliate commission.
Security warning
Your coupon may be leaked to promo code aggregator websites. If misuse is detected, Readymag can revoke your current coupon and issue a new one. All signups made before the coupon change will still be counted.

W-8 and W-9 Forms
To pay you, we’ll need a valid email linked to your Wise account and your W8/W9 form. W8/W9 forms are tax forms used in the U.S. by the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) to collect taxpayer information, mostly for income reporting and withholding purposes. As a U.S.-based company, we have to collect this data.
Form W-9 is for U.S. citizens or residents
Form W-9 is filled out by U.S. individuals or businesses. It’s designed to provide your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) to someone—a company or bank—who will be paying you so they can report payments made to you to the IRS.
If you’re a U.S.-based freelancer and a company hires you, they’ll ask for a W-9 to get your Social Security Number (SSN) or TIN.
Form W-8 is for non-U.S. persons
Form W-8 is filled out by foreign individuals or businesses. This form confirms that you’re not a U.S. citizen and allows you to claim any tax benefits from agreements between your country and the U.S. Without it, U.S. companies are required by law to withhold taxes from your payments.
If you live outside the U.S. and a U.S. company pays you, they’ll ask you for a W-8 form to determine how much tax, if any, to withhold.
To add your W8/W9 form to your dashboard, go to your FirstPromoter profile section, scroll to the end of the page, and upload it into the corresponding section.
