Add-ons are available on the Advanced plan only. If you're currently on a Free, Personal, or Freelancer plan and need more capacity, you’ll need to upgrade to Advanced first.
Every Readymag plan includes a set number of published websites, custom domains, collaborators, views, and more (see Understanding Readymag plans for more details). Add-ons let you extend the limits of your subscription. If you need more capacity in a specific area (extra websites with custom domains, more collaborators, or higher view counts) you can purchase the exact add-on you need on top of your existing plan.
What add-ons are available?
There are three types of add-ons:
- Custom domains connect additional custom domains so more of your projects can go live under your own domain instead of a Readymag URL.
- Collaborators allow you to invite more people to work on your projects.
- Views increase your monthly view allowance if your projects are getting high traffic.
How to purchase add-ons
- Go to Account Settings.
- Find the section with your current plan and click Edit.
- You'll be taken to a checkout page where you can select add-ons and adjust quantities.
- The checkout will show a live price breakdown so you can see exactly what you'll be charged before confirming.
Note: If you don't have an active plan yet, you'll first need to purchase the Advanced plan. During checkout, you can choose the add-ons you need right away, or add them later using the same flow described above.
How is pricing calculated?
Each add-on is priced per unit, so you pay only for what you add. The billing period for add-ons always matches your subscription: for example, if you're on an annual plan, add-ons are billed annually, and if you're on a monthly plan, add-ons are billed monthly. It's not possible to mix billing periods—for example, adding a monthly add-on to an annual plan.
Adjusting add-ons later
You can increase or decrease your add-on quantities at any time. Just return to Account Settings, click Edit on your plan, and update the quantities in the same checkout flow.
If you make changes mid-billing period, the unused portion of what you've already paid will be calculated and added to your account as credit. This credit is applied automatically toward any future purchases.
Promo codes and discounts
Promo codes typically apply to your base subscription plan only—they can’t be used to discount add-ons. Unless stated otherwise in the promotion terms, add-ons are charged at their standard price.
